I bought it last night - will read it today. The cover is hot and the contents of the disk looks good. Will let you know.
Re: PCFormat October Comments and Crits
The mags are supposed to be in stores during the third week of the month, but they ended up being a little early this time. I am still trying to discover why this happens and will let you know. I think I should move it to the last week of the month if everyone is cool with that? As for subscribers, they should have had theirs already as soon as the SAPO employees have finnished installing your demos

I would subscribe but find that most other mags arrive late. I don't like to be last to get my mags

OK so I peeked.
Only one pic of the new 'Lara' inside What a waste.
Nab - your back page is spot on. How's about an article about hardware distributors and their 'rules' for lending out hardware for reviews. PRINT who refrains from being part of the process. I'm looking to buy a decent HD display. What do they have to hide?

Re: PCFormat October Comments and Crits
Ok, I read that shuttle review and while it was funny, i'm sorry but find something better than a pornstar to compare a case too.
Re: PCFormat October Comments and Crits
Sup all, I will be out of action till next week but here's some info about some of the issues. The publishers moved PCF forward because T3 hit shelves at the same time. I have reversed this and so PCF will now hit shelves close to the end of the month - subscribers will remain in the middle of the month (SAPOO dependent of course.)
There will be 1000 free internets for the hman for guessing the cover
doo_much - there are more pics of her on the disc (oh yeah!). Regarding the distributors who mess us about - that's an ethics minefield but I have been playing with an angle for some time.
Prime - KB has paid dearly for that little analogy . In all fairness he is still finding his feet and I would prefer him to have a bit of freedom and identity rather than stifle his fresh writing skills. He is coming along nicely and is learning very quickly, so I would ask that a little lame metaphor here and there be tolerated for a while.
Otherwise, I will catch you all next week!

Does anything I write ever get mentioned or does Grandma's Boy hog all the commentary? Not that I want his sort of feedback...

Dae, I think you need to spend every day in the office with KB before they'll give you that coveted staff tag...
A hefty price.
