EA - FIFA 2010 World Cup game!

Post by PaperCut »

sup all!

Do you guys think EA will be hooking up a FIFA 2010 game?

I know it's still early days, but since they've made a franchise out of the whole Word Cup thing. Do you think they'll continue it with 2010. It being in South Africa and all. THe venues, etc.??

I wonder if they'll have unfinished stadiums and crime statistics flashing across the screen while you're playing?

and you'd be adjusting your screen brightness and gamma like a mad man only to realise that the match really is meant to be played in darkness

you guys are funny. No, I think they will make a world cup based game. It should play and look the same as Fifa 09 but will less teams and less venues to play in.

Cosato banners in the background. "We love Zuma" signs. "No food, no money, please help" signs. Cows grazing on the stadium fields. Burning tires. EA can have a field day with this :P

You can start playing the game under load shedded conditions. The more you score int the dark the more day light points you get to activate lights. The first victory should unlock mining helmets for the players so they can see where they are running to.

It will be the same as the last releases if there are any of them... Rugby/Cricket 06,07,08 are practically the same thing just updated players and menu... They should just release one game like say Rugby and give monthly updates instead of releasing the same game each year with only players stats updated and 1 or 2 other things which could easily fit on a patch.

Indeed they should, but this is EA we're talking about. When it comes to sports games, at least the less popular ones like rugby or cricket, "patch" is a swearword. Why release patches (even to fix major bugs) when you can make more money by just releasing a new game in a year or two (without having fixed said bugs)?

Maybe they'll have a load-shedding on/off option somewhere in the game settings

I think we should compile a list of necessary features and email it to EA so they can begin implementing our suggestions! :D

Add the loadshedding feature. To disable loadshedding or provide power to South Africa please donate the following amount to EA Africa via paypal :P
