Rofl. Sorry. I don't understand the question and the fact that you have a Final Warning makes it seem like your just messing around. Couldn't help lol'ing.

Hopefully someone who understands your q will come on and help you.

What he is asking is that the black wires (also known as Ground, or the negative (-) contact) are all joined to one point.

From what I'm guessing, is that can you randomly switch them around (so to speak).

I know that in order to turn on the PSU, you can touch the Green Wire to any black wire. Sometimes used for testing if the PSU works.

Hmmm i dont think so!! Necro'd

A couple of n00b psu questions.

Is there any place in durban that sells generic psu's without the case ?

Will a 8800gt be enough to run on a 450watt aopen psu (this aint the fortron ones that are rebranded, i think its generic), and does it have a separate power connector for the card?

You meant to say, "Will a 450W AOpen PSU be enough to run a 8800GT..."

My answer, rather get a 500W branded PSU. My AOpen 450W (Fortron) gave up the ghost after a few years. Now it can't pull my rig, still runs, but as soon as the pc starts working even remotely hard the PSU can't handle the load.

oh yeah

Thanks, i guess it will have to be a trail and error thing. No money to invest in a new psu atm.

i just found out the converter is supplied with the card, :P
