That image looks fake to me. Spelling errors (finnaly), missing punctuation and grammar errors.

The first rune is definitely from Warcraft. You can see it more clearly in the third splashscreen. But the second is from Diablo and the third is from Starcraft.

Perhaps they will make announcements on all three series.

Why will you guys play Diablo 3, because Diablo and his 2 brothers is dead. Mephisto and Baal . The 3 stone was red , yellow and blue.

All 3 stone is broken.

So where will the other stories come in ?

diablo 1 was isometric, diablo 2 was isometric...

leave it alone unless you make it omfgsometric too.. which they wont.

Magic .... I don't care how or who even, just as long as there is a Diablo 3. And the guys at Blizzard know what they are doing, so if it happens it will make sense and be amazing.

Some Blizzard fans were disappointed that there was no news on a new Diablo game at BlizzCon. How high on the Blizzard ‘to do’ list is Diablo 3?

I frankly don't care if the game goes totally the opposite direction than the previous 2 in that we play demons fighting against the good side. As long as they find a way to bring out a similar style game and its up to their normal standard I'll be happy. With Blizzard you can almost always expect something brilliant though!

I remember a while back there was a website about diablo 3, the site stated that Deckard Cain is actually the prime evil. He just used you to destroy Diablo and his brothers so he can take control of hell. I think that would make a pretty cool storyline. oh, can't remember the site, i'm sure google will help you find it!

The world stone was in Horogeth a frozen land. Might be a frozen piece of hte world stone? It does look like crystals after all.

If you want an entry plot you would say that the soul stones where needed to keep diablo and his brothers contained. Smashing them released them from imprisonment but the world stone didnt allow them to exist in the world. So smash the world stone and now they have a free for all access to the world.

For those that didnt get it did you read the second link with all the conspiricy content?

NOTHING IS FINAL! But thats how fanatical we have become about gaming and our games. So it is possible even if it is 1% chance.

Just too toss another spanner in the works, imagine if Blizzard decided to branch out totally new direction and start a new franchise apart from Warcraft, Starcraft or Diablo...not that there are many other genres left, but it would be cool...like finally having a decent well thought out sport sim that you can actually play without becomming totally frustrated...not that Blizzard would be that asinine

Blizzard are the best at strategy games, and they know it. They won't go into another genre (I don't think anyway) because most people like strategy games, even if its only to pass the time

Another Hint....

In the Employment Section on Blizzard website, they are looking for many designers, Artists, and Programmers, for a "Top Secret" Project.

Among the Developers, they need people to help with a "Next-Gen MMO"

So, could we be seeing "World of Diablo"?

Problem with this game is its too old for new gen players to know wtf happened so I don't think blizzard would worry how it links up with the older games..

Diablo was dead the moment blizzard decided to join the 3d bandwagon and abandoned isometric gameplay. This is a bit like the remaking ,,the titanic,,
