OK, what I've done is reassigned all of those dodgy posts to the anonymous account. This time, everything should be sorted out.

Please let me know if it's still happening or if it comes back. Will be making some code changes to hopefully prevent this from happening again.

EDIT: On a brighter note, AMD vs Intel appears to be OK now. :D

If the offending 'guest' posts were removed, would that fix the problem??

OK, the Spam Thread is fixed.

It was a different problem to the other threads - you see, there is a posts table, and a posts_text table. What happened is that data was inserted into only one of the tables, not both.

This is VERY RARE - I only found four instances it on the forum (out of 900,000 posts). All four instances have been resolved.

This is like reading Judas' questions in the tricky question thread. Good job, though, Ron!

Nah, I reckon half of our problems is that PHP-Nuke and phpBB don't integrate very well - there's a lot of ugly hacks made to the phpBB code to get it to play ball.

Of course, I have much displeasure with PHP-Nuke, but that's really something for another topic.

Getting back to topic, I'm keeping this thread open in case there's still problems lurking around the place. I'm confident that I've got them all sorted out now, but just in case...
