Old games you wish they remake ...
@t Acidkidsa
I managed to isnstall it via Dos Box, but had mouse problems too in dosbox, apparently , the installed game runs in windows XP. Also could be that u using a usb mouse, or the sound card conflict with game play... disable sound or configure sound card, this happens with old dos games running in windows XP using an on board sound chipset. Best solution is to get a PCI sound card. Triad runs well on my machine, even tweaked the graphics a little... and the midi sounds great with a sound canvas. better when i played it before, just the only problem is with the demo i cant play the dark haired girl which i played with last time.... also try increase the virtual processor speed in dos box, as well as video memory and frame rate. I had done this when playing the dos only game Privateer 2 ... in the latest dosbox... also remember that if you set it high the game may run well but may have a p4 processor running at 100% all through the game.
I also have Privateer 2 : The darkening
Would like a remake of this, with the idea that you can choose male and female characters instead of male, and can move about on a planet in 1st person or third person(like star wars knight of old republic)

Redo Dungeon Keeper and Populous the Beginning one of the first God sim game combined with RTS, how I loved the game (wish I did not sell my only copy now ).
*edit* Saw my choices were already said hmm I remember a old game that in order to go anywhere you had to solve these puzzles by using runes. The only way to find out what the runes were was to experiment, cd is at home somewhere will have to find it. Also remember a game called Time Splitters (something to do with time! Cant remember full name) that was on PC, loved that game...

Have you ever seen the movie Super ex-girlfriend?
Anyone remember Rogue? It was an ASCII graphics based RPG for the original IBM PC. The monsters were letters, like B for bat or L for leech.
One of the for-runners of modern RPGs. We've come a long way since then.
