Question is: Where are the CPUs?
And, if I'm not mistaken, but that looks like a 7200W PSU?

Do you even know how to overclock? Because looking at most of your past questions (last one with the memory) I would say you are still far away from that!mrplaya911 wrote:dam dam dam. if that S@#t aint photoshopped the that is a machine and a half. wow. i wish i had that and i would overclock the machine to the limit to get the highest 3dmark06 score.ever hahahahahahahah
More points than you!
It would make an excellent rendering/scientific workstation, but wouldn't be too good at gaming especially with 2.0Ghz cores. You'd be better off with a 2 GX2s and a Q9300 to be honest. Or for 1/3 the price you could get skulltrail and clock 2 QX9650s to 4.0Ghz. You'd probably get a higher 3dm06 score.

If the games made use of multicore CPUs and multiple CPUs and you managed to SLI all of the graphics cards together it would be a killer PC wouldnt it?Hex_Rated wrote:It would make an excellent rendering/scientific workstation, but wouldn't be too good at gaming especially with 2.0Ghz cores. The processing power would then be MUCH better than a Q9300 and 2x GX2's ?

Like a car. That's what I would get myself. Or even a motorbike, the rest on an average gaming PC, and then invest the rest into shares for Google.DeanMF wrote:I am sure I could find better use for R185 000.......

Yes definitely in terms of raw processing power but you still need to harness all that power. At the moment 4 cores at 2.5Ghz would be better than 8 cores at 2.0Ghz but that could change over time. The other problem is the way that multi GPU rendering works, the most efficient way to implement it at the moment is AFR. With 6 graphics cards this means that 6 frames have to be rendered in advance which will give really high FPS but games will feel unresponsive, almost giving a drunk like feeling to the control. With 2 or 3 GPUs this isn't a problem, going upwards from that you'll wind up with control issues.PsyCLown wrote:If the games made use of multicore CPUs and multiple CPUs and you managed to SLI all of the graphics cards together it would be a killer PC wouldnt it?Hex_Rated wrote:It would make an excellent rendering/scientific workstation, but wouldn't be too good at gaming especially with 2.0Ghz cores.
