LEDs on the CHEAP

Post by DAE_JA_VOO »

How's it guys

I member of my forum linked me to this

See that? 100 X 5mm White LED 13000 mcd including Free Resistors. I worked it out, that should cost you about R86, including shipping.

When i buy LEDs, they're like R3 or R4 EACH.

Enjoy :)

I cannot oblige thee, my secret is sacred 8O

I know people who know other people who import the stuff with other stuff so I get my stuff free, I only need to tell these people what I want.

This is a link to a hint

Wow.
I'm planning on trying setting up an LED hydroponic grow room as an experiment. Wanna see how it'll compare.
Because I can much easier control the light spectrum during the various grow phases.

May I put you under hypnosis?

I won't have you do any sexual favors, only suggest some stuff I want.

I don't know why, but that bit, immediately brought thoughts on illegal plants to mind ... LOL

Anyway, LED's only have a very narrow light wave. Depending on the colour it can be anything from 400nm to 700nm. You will also need to find out exactly what colour your plants will like most. I am thinking that UV might be your best bet.

Illegal? me? never...
Yeah I know - which is why I'm so keen to look into them, because different stages of the growing period prefer very different light.
Unfortunately I require something like 6000+ lumens...
