Photoshop art

Post by capanno »

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I started playing around with some more severe photoshop photo editing. Im leaning towards oil painting / adstract / impressionism. This is a photo of my friend and his gf.

i think it has a real good oil painting effect, except for the girls back and shoulders area, but i think cause her skin is pretty white that it does not show throw as well as it should.

Bottom right seems too much like pointilism. Otherwise nice :)

if you did that from scratch in PS my hat goes off to you...

yeah like Izzy said, the bottom right part and part of the main image seems to have a lot of 'noise' in them... if that was actually the aim, well then I guess you hit the target...

You're saying that the camera which took a picture look that is something special?

Capanno *did* say that he edited it.

What filters, if any, did you use?

rofl Wikid... been out too long on the bike in the sun have we? :D

I meant the actual painting... if he did that from scratch, not through filters...
but even if he used filters, it still came out pretty good...

i was only joking. geez man. Just coz I don't wanna sell my E6600 to you for R600 doesn't mean you have to be an a-hole. I think you are visually impaired, coz you seem to have missed the FREAKIN SMILEY at the end of my post.

I never said I wanted to buy it for R600. I was actually looking for something plain, with a stock cooler. I don't have R1400 to spend for a friend of mine on a pc that's going to run stock. R1k with a stock cooler is what I am looking for

And btw I understood the smiley as sarcasm.

And lets get back to the topic. Lol. Ygpms.

I used the crosshatch filter on the original photo. On top of that is a picture of concrete that I took and changed its blending options to multiply. I also changed the picture's hue to get that yellow highlights. After that its just manual brushing, burning and dodging.

Michael stop being such a kid. Take this crap of yours elsewhere.

ah, so that is why the 'noise' parts? the concrete multiplied layer...

burning and dodging :?

I can never get that to what I want... sometimes it makes me want to dodge the lighter I use to want to burn my pc
