Induction Kits

Post by cYcLIc »

Anyone have induction fitted? I'm looking for a good place to do fitting in JHB. I just need names of places that do fittings of air filters, induction etc. Preferably a big well-known place.

You can go to www.inductionkits.co.za
They do cold air inductions on most cars. What do you drive and what are you looking for?

An induction kit is a cheap way to get a bit more power out your car. You can fit a kit in almost all cars. Check for your car at www.inductionkits.co.za.

Hehe ;) just trying to help. I'm getting a polo next year so Yea. Maybe you can do an airbox mod. Take out the trumpets, they little plastic cone things, and put a decent flat bed in. It'll rev a little nicer at high rpm.

Small world?

I appreciate the help. My friend who works at Sportech is gonna come and have a look tomorrow and tell me what he can do for the car. I just want to do something so my bro can get off my case since I promised him a few mods. I'll relay what you've said.

Small world cos you also on vwclub. I think naughty is also there, but I'm not sure if it's PCF naughty. They seem to have the same car though.

Polo Gti :P :)

Hehe, well you can look @ getting a 268 cam, and maybe some headwork done. Like a gasflow and 0.2mm skim. That'll give you a decent power boost :)

Basic, just so you and cyclic know, I asked on the VWClub forums about de-trumpeting, and they say it's not a good idea. Just search for my thread (threads started by DR, there should be two) and read in the one about de-trumpeting.

Just to let you guys know!

it WAS me - i used to post there - but i got irritated with the way guys actually flame and bash certain VW cars - especially the higher end ones - so it seems like they only want affordable cars which are modified

and then they have a orgy over S3's - nothing wrong with that particular car - but technically it isnt a VW - so if i want to discuss audi's and Seats then i will join an Audi or Seat forum - in the meantime id expect guys to be civil about the products they use - but everyone there keeps going on about how bad the Polo Gti or the R32 or even the CitiR is - and those are all top of the line models in their range

sure the cars are not perfect - but they are a damn sight better than the lower models down the range but everyone waxes lyrical about each model lower down and treats the guys who can afford better like they are something that the cat dragged in

sorry ..... guys - the truth is ive got no time for guys who pretend to be enthusiastic about the product they use - either you like VW or you dont - you cant base a club on people who criticize everything that VW does ..... so its just not a place for me - i even cancelled my application to join the club
