My 8800GTS heated up my Motherboard.

Push it to the max but make sure that you keep it cool!

Why? Just make sure you have sufficient airflow in your case and it is all fine. Add 1 or 2 120mm fans, ensure flow is correct. Then, up the fan speed on your GTS to a fixed setting instead of leaving it on manual.

44' is still fine though...

I got a Raidmax case. 2 x 120MM FAN and one 80mm fan.

In the front with 120mm fan blow in and at the back it blow in too.
then at the left side with the 80MM fan it's blow out.

It the flow of the case correct ?

You need the front fan to pull air into the case and the rear fan must blow out of the case, not both blowing in.

Change your fans.

Side fan should blow in - Your CPU sucks air in, by sucking it out at the side you are creating a 'gap'. Also, rear fan should extract, not blow in as well...

Those temps are perfectly fine, especially so for a heatpiped board.

If that temp is on idle, then it pretty high, and you should think in investing in aftermarket cooling, I only can imagine your temps will go up to 90C on load which for a sustained period of time is pretty dangerous.

Yes but with the Zalman you have to buy the add on VRM and RAM chip cooler (for 8800s) that fits under the copper fins. This will set you back another R300.

Based just on that and not even on cooling yet, the ThermaRight HR-03 Plus is a better buy.

thats because thermaltake has a bad reputation on this forum.

Be careful when u mention thermaltake on the forums, u opening up room for flaming. Ive never had a problem with termaltake products though, different strokes for different folks i guess..

The ThermaRight HR-03 Plus is nice ,but it take space up for the other SLI PCI-E port and need a 92 MM fan.

Zalman VF 1000 -- It don't take up space and it have a blue LED Fan.

The Thermalright DuOrb Look pretty cool.

I FIX THE PROBLEM OOO YEAH

Ok The Raidmax Sagittarius case harddrive rack close/block the airflow from the front of my case.

I turned the harddrive rack arround and now the airflow flows through the harddrive and graphic card.

Example:
Image

I Test on Unreal Tournament 3 and now my Graphic card (8800GTS) Idle on 59 and when it Load MAX temperature is 74

Really AWESOME

No - take the stock cooler off and put decent thermal paste on instead of the gloop left behind... then you should notice a drop in temps...

also, use Rivatuner 2.06 to increase the fan speed to at least 60% for better results...

a aftermarket cooler is going to drop your temps approx. 5-10 degrees under load, but if you use the decent thermal paste, like Arctic Silver then you will drop the temps by about the same along with Rivatuner...
