Seriously though...do you have a spare fan lying around which you could temporarily mount so it blows over the heatsink?
Just to see how much the temp comes down by. Heatsinks on their own only realy work well if there is plenty of airflow going across them. (or if you haven't tried o/c'ing the living daylights out of whatever it is trying to cool

)

I'll see if I can maybe mount a system fan or something to keep the heatsink cool ...

I'm also going to give lapping the heatsink a try

I know Frontosa stock the Zalman's (but you have to be a registered dealer to buy from them)
