OK heres my problem. Installed a clean copy of Ubuntu 7.10 the other day, today I have time to play around with it. So I went to Add/Remove Applications where I normally get my packages from.
Whenever I click a package to install, it says
The list of applications is not available
Click on "reload" to load it. To reload the list you need a working intnernet connection
I hit the refresh button, it seems to update the list, but whenever I click the package I want to download it says the same thing. I've tried Synaptic Package Manager, and that only seems to list the apps that I already have installed
I would just go and search the net for them, but I need mp3 codecs etc
Anyone know what could be the problem?
