Instalation

Lets say I already have equipment used with megawan (that includes the pmcia card and a tiny dish) and is installed, wil i still need to do a new installation or can i use this and just fix the dish to a wisp tower?
 
 And another question, wil they use sorta the same towers or is their towers gonna be in difrent locations?
 
 For example I live in PTA Constantia Park and used to use the morelta park megawan tower (i had direct line of sight - and i read on <a href="http://www.wisp-pta.co.za" target="_blank">www.wisp-pta.co.za</a> that towers wil be all over pta at end of 2002 December).

I don´t think that it will be possible, they use a different dish. Give them a call and ask...the number is (011) 450-3264 [ Edited by Cameron Losco On Date November 21, 2002 ]

I don´t think that the card will be a problem...just the dish.

ok ppl.......one question.....say i go for this wisp thing(btw we dont have any kind of braodband here....a.k.a DSL in this here country.)say a 64k connection.
 
 wot would be the d/l speeds be on this baby?
 would it be faster than isdn 64k, or the same?
 coz i get around 8kbps d/l with my connetion now.
