Thanks DR and Seand
I want to mod one of the dead (but now working ) consoles FIRST. This mod will probably NOT include water. Once i'm done with that mod, i'll mod my own personal 360, with water
Ag i'll see how it goes hey...
Well, here's my plan so long...DarkRanger wrote:When is the watercooling hitting the Xbox??

man I am so confused...
you started with the dead console right?
and then you say "Here is my console running CoD4"...
so you actually did what you did to the dead 1 to your WORKING 360 as well, and that is the pic you showed?
sorry it is still early...

Unfortunately the HD-DVD drive can't play the gamesDarkRanger wrote:and are you gonna mod one of them with the HD-DVD drive??
The drives aren't available in SA so none of my sponsors would have one anywayDarkRanger wrote:Get one of your sponsors to send you one and then add their decal to the xbox enclosure.
All sold outDarkRanger wrote:Any chance of organizing me a dead console from prophecy or somewhere?

Hmmm.... now there's an idea...DarkRanger wrote:But you said you wanted to use one as a media centre... Can't you mod a HD-DVD drive into THAT one?
Still... there's no local supplier. That means i'll have to import the drive myself, and i don't wanna spend my moneys on a HD-DVD drive when HD-DVDs aren't even here yet...
Yeah, probably...DarkRanger wrote:And I'm sure a firmware update will work on the HD-DVD drive to get it to play games.

how much did it cost you to buy the consoles and fix them?
