SQL Edit tool ?

Hi do any of you know if there are any
SQL editing tools available.

Something simple, to connect to a SQL server then run a stored proc and i need
a debug windows to show some resaults.

I hate the standard mmc console, its stupid

Have you tried MS SQL Server Management Studio?

No but i'm going to.

Yes, with both 2000 and 2005. The express version is free but the full version comes with 2005.

Thats cool. Cus with Enterprise manager if you for and example open a stored proc the window opens with no min, max button on the top right corner.

only ms knows why , The code i have is quite lengthy and you can scroll search what you are looking for every time you closed it when checking other stuff. Nevermind find it doesnt have a find feature. at the moment i run it in a remote desktop so i can minimize the whole session
and sometimes copy and paste dont work. from remote desktop to real desktop. :roll:
