An apology to the forum

How's it guys

Okay, many of you may have missed the flaming that went on in the Crysis thread a few nights ago. It all started here.

Doomextreme was acting silly and saying stupid things again, and it all got out of hand and everyone tore the guy apart. I was part of that flame fest.

Once that had died down, i saw this:

I usually actually PM Doom and HELP him by telling him that he can't say this, or he can't say that, and he generally appreciates my help, but that night was a different story.

I do understand that i was a bit harsh, and i apologise to you guys. I feel that this sort of thing should be handled much, MUCH better than the way i did it. The forum needn't be cluttered with that sort of nonsense

I've since spoken to Lancelot about this, hence my apology (he didn't tell me to apologise, i'm doing this myself

)

So, that's the point here, i'm sorry for my behaviour

I read that comment but i think it was warranted. Just cause somebody doenst know what and HDD doesn't mean they deserve to be insulted.

Nice of you to apologise though.Doom try and be a little more helpful. . .you'll alienate new forum members if u dont.

IMHO Doomextreme was out of line, but maybe you were a little harsh. I think everyone should just cill out and stop these flame wars.

You know Dae, I'm always saying how you're one of the most mature people on this forum, and I respect you greatly for that, but sometimes you're too nice. DX is a real chop sometimes and he must grow up. He knows we all love him and that we just flame him to show him the error of his ways, he is only 16, you know

That said, the flaming on the forum has been ridiculous lately, and having been a contributor I apologise as well.

Oh and by the way, three cheers to KillerByte who has impressivley learned to deal with trolls (he won't acknowledge them anymore) and seems to have really decided to show some respect, now one of the more decent members of this forum. High-five man!

(yeah, as if I'm so worthy to criticize. Just my opinion

I honestly don't see any reason why DAE should apologise in the first place. As far as I can tell, DAE did nothing wrong. He told a troll off.. so what? Nothing wrong with that!
