Okay, new photos on DJV's request.
First photo is just of the perspex to show the shape.
This pic, just to give you an angle on the perspex, maybe you can see how smooth it is! (IT'S REALLY SMOOTH!! I couldn't believe it... )
Another atempt at showing the smoothness, although, this one is a bit blurred...
Then two pics of the fitting.
I fitted it this afternoon, without any masking tape, and it looked AWESOME! DJV, I thought about your mesh idea, and I think it'll look stunning, but if we made it in black. So next month, I'll order some black mesh form PPC's.
Another thing I didn't do, was fit those screws, because I'm to afraid that it will crack or something.

Heya,
If you are going to make the holes bigger on the plexi, I suggest using a stepped drill. You can find then at most builders shops or hardware stores, for around R130 fr the small ones (4-12mm in 1mm increments).
They work amazing well, not only to enlarge holes, but they make a perfect circle in plexi and aluminium. They are made from HSS so they are relatively tough.
I have provided a link so you can see what they look like
BTW, you also get step drills that go all the way up to 30mm,but they are quite costly.

You want one? Coz I can get you one... I mean I want to use one for my mod, but that's about the last time I'll use it. So it wont be worth it for me. But if you want one, I can go get you one today and bring it along whenever the next mod meeting is...DAE_JA_VOO wrote:None whatsoever, but i've been meaning to buy myself one for ages. Just haven't got around to it. What haja says is true though. Stepped drills are frikken awesome.
