Cooler Master iGreen 600W

hey guys.

I need advice on this psu,like is it stable and better than lets a Gigabyte Odin 550watt,and will it be efficient enough for this setup,even when overclocked to about 350 fsb on the cpu.Or maybe a psu in the 600-650-700 watt range besides this 1 that you guys recommend.

Matey I would strongly recommend an Antec PSU, even though I think they have a slight price premium they are worth every penny. Take a look at their website and their PSU's are available locally.

Try get an Aopen 700W, or a Aerocool 620W 0dba

thanks dude,but i hear bad things about Antec,heard they blow up quite a bit.
Did a bit of reading yesterday,mosy guys on other forums dont recommend Antec.

Thats incorrect mate,

I have an Antec 480W Tru Power 2 PSU running my system - see my specs in my sig

Antec are a GOOD quality brand

Mate, shyte does happen with PSU's, there is no 100% guarantee that the baztard wont blow no matter the brand. That being said I dunno how Antec can have a bad opinion on other forums. I have been using my 430Watt TrueBlue or something for like 3 years without a hiccup whatsoever whereas a mate of mine has replaced his PSU 3 times in one year, and he was using cheap "no-name" psu's.

That being said, you can get unlucky in life. You could walk out of your house and have a bird fly into your head and die. Shyte happens.

Go with Antec/Zalman/Coolermaster or any other good name brand that gives you some kind of guarantee. Its all down to personal preference in the end.
