Hey guys,
I was wondering, if you were setting up a new PC for some one, yourself or a friend and you had limited funds(I.E. no money to buy programs, only freeware stuff) what security apps would you load(obviously paid for versions would be better, but we're talking freeware here)
Personally:
Anti-virus: free version Avira anti-vir
firewall : Zone Alarm
Anti-spyware: ?
What are your opinions
Rob.

I second that-If you want paranoid, go for NOD32 but AVG works.Anthropoid wrote:AVG Av
Comodo firewall
Spybot SD / AVG ASW
I run Norton360 and its....$#!T!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had issues with first install and it wont autobackup proving that paying for antivirus isn't always the best option when norton is involved...its good that it was free for me otherwise I would have gone nuts.
I heart AVG full edition.
Soon Google will know everything...including how to divide by zero
