How to Mod your Old G5 to New G5

I want to change my mouse color:

Any idea, how to paint it like that new G5 ?

It's called crackle paint

/I'm sure you can find some at an arts and crafts store

I must say - I much prefer the look of the old G5... Would rather swap it around to the brushed silver look rather than the crack paint...

Why must stuff like that be so expensive?

Its expensive and Im not sure how durable it will be.

What I would recommend is first spraying the section of the mouse blue.

The get some vinyl and cut out some very fine strips for the cracks. Sign writing tape will also work.

Apply to the mouse and spray black over it.

Once dry simply remove the tape and cover the mouse in a few coats of clear.

If done with patience and accuracy it will look just as good.
