can just picture this mini external 15 button WinAMP panel standing next to Endorphin or Epiphany...

or better yet, built in...

Hmm, this gives me an idea. See, I've been playing with head tracking with a web cam, but it lags and stutters. Maybe rigging something up on a hat to the pc via serial.

I dunno. These things are not bad, but all these wires.

Ture modders should be going more wireless, as that is more cutting edge than plugging 4 buttons into the back of your pc to go forward and play tracks.

PLus WTF is with a remote eject button anyways, so, your drive opens, then what?

If I had any modding skills, I would definitely try this. Unfortunately if I want this done I'll have to find and pay someone to do it for me.

And I just HAVE to be able to control my winamp from my bed man!

looks great. and to think i got this box here at home that has 4 buttons built in it. and it was the old house alarm.... lol and if only i know how to mod then i cud have use this.

Does the computer automatically debounce the switches? Otherwise, that circuit would probably not work all that well...

Just put a resistor in-line and a smallish cap to ground and you're sorted with the debounce
