I have used that at a client's before. He designs house plans. I tried it out by drawing a staircase. You have to manually draw all the dimensions - each aspect of the 3D image. It is amazing how you can pivot the view to see from all angles.

I really like it but would like it to render the 3D automatically.

Sorry for the hi res pics ;)

Here's the mod i designed. Work on that mod should start soon, really soon:

I didn't make all of it though, but i made about 95% of it.

Here's the house i'm designing for my step dad (not finished, far far far from finished):

And here's the screen mod i'm designing. Also very far from done:

Also, here are links to the fan grille i quickly sketched a few nights ago. I made it in about 10 minutes for someone, just as an "alpha" design. Will still be tweaked very much:

I still have LOADS of other things if you wanna see :P

Tribble hangs her head in shame for she knows that her work will never match that of the Dae or the Mikdog.

Dae - that is awesome. I really did not know you guys were using the program to that extent. And knowing how difficult it is compared to some CAD packages, I am really impressed. Granted, once you get the hang of it, not a difficult program but having to draw the 3D aspects yourself - that takes talent.

Love the mod you have planned. At first I thought you were modding a hamster cage   because of the water bottles. But wow - really nice. Your fans are so realistic too. Maybe I should ask you to design my extra rooms that we want to add on to the house :lol::lol:

And yes - I love looking at other's stuff. So please show us :D

No it doesn't. You can download stuff like that though. Problem is that that serves no purpose in my case as i need to model our exact furniture. No problem, i enjoy it :)

BTW, it took me about 8 hours to model that house, and about 20 to model that PC ;)

does this program have better renders in the pictures? (more life like looking) or does it always look flat? im studying architecture (3rd year) and always interested in learning new programs.
