Team TSSR benches with LN2 :) (56K WARNING)
Ok so here we go!!
So after recovering and then laughing a while at all the things that actually took place...
So lets just say it was fun exciting agrovating and a whole lot more...
So the story begins as most good stories do with a idea, this idea was to overclock (que stupid remarks)
So we all decided that the best thing to do would be to get it out of our systems and our "systems" and just see what we could get.
Well needless to say it was never going to go as planned, actually i dont think it ever does with us...
So friday morning came and all were in the know that this was going to be the day we would kill our own record hahahah!
First to arrive was our master in armed wording assult Tech phil
obviously my couch was calling his name
Then came Ralph with with the special ingredients needed
er he was a little parinoid about letting us see where he got it from
Then came our newly wedded man with sun burn... i mean tan!
So we all assembled at my place and started to contemplate how we were going to do this, i'll explain: we had the choice of three pipes but neither of us could really make a choice on which one to use so we took a vote... and let Ralph make the choice
so here it is among other things..
Then it was on to the insulation...
insulation in..
this was followed by instillation of pipe and other nessasary items to bench with.. NO PHIL NOT GYM BENCH
aaah now all in and lets start her up..
more to come...

ok so on we go..
pic of the nice liquid we used
how about some cooling...
So we had to post up and guess what, on our first try..
and...
...
taa daaa...
but unfortunatly this didn't last long as we hit the feared COLD BUG!!!
and of course this lead to the thinking caps being put on
Carl thought he could help out in his own "special" way..
and tech had other things on his mind..
we did manage a run eventually of course...
more to come again!

Ok so on we go now...
er more benching..
and our only 3d or should i say AM3 run..
this sorta ended the day as we were all pretty much had after a hard day off goofing around
So on to the next day and two rather weary members or rather should i say one weary (i never actually went to sleep the whole weekend just to stupid to give up i guess! ) and one slighty sickish member of TSSR carried on...
This is where i need to have a little cry now :crying: as you'll see in the next pic...
Damn how close was that
anyway after that it all went pretty down hill as we only got a good run of about two or three hours with no cold bug and then it just wouldn't play nice with us!!!
Some more pics of our little adventure..
It really was alot of fun and a helva learning curve for me personally.
At least i can say i know what has to be done now for the next time, and you can be damn sure there will be a next time very soon.

Damn, that seemed like fun!
Very nice and cool indeed! Maybe try with another board next time? Like a DFI
