Project 832: Rebirth [05/09/2007 - Final Pics]
So I plan to take one of these
and squeese it with some cutting and sorts into one of these
Now
Im thinking of mounting the rad on top which means I will have to mod the top of the case a bit but im pretty sure I will get it to fit.
So what you guys think, can it be done?

Ok well hardware going into the system would be my current rig
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4 Board
Core 2 Duo E6400
2 GB Corsair DDR2-800 C4
XFX 8800GTS 640MB
Audigy 2 zs
Not much but it does the job. I will replace the motherboard with a striker when I implement SLI in the future. I will also water cool the Gcards when I do so.
Im also looking to purchase a black version of the case, My main theme will be black with blue lighting. I also want to find a coolant I can use thats blue rather than the green stuff.

Im getting the case from kalahari.net at R2200.000 then Im getting the watercooling kit from Cyberorange.co.za at R1999.00 as well as the fans and ccfl lightshaja wrote:where you ordering from? If its from overseas, I am sure you can get better (quieter) fans.
PS, thats a kickass PC, so don't say 'nothing much'
I think Im changing to silver instead of black for the case as well. With what Im going to be doing on the inside of the case it will be a nice contrast.
Thanks, I will look into that, its not a bad price eitherOff-The-Chart wrote:This will be a gr8 mod to look forward to...

Update:
I have searched the web high and low and I cant seem to find anyone who has or willing to mod this case? Is it too expensive or what? Can someone maybe point me in the right direction here? Anyways...
I placed the order for it yesterday and they phoned me this morning saying I will have to wait a little seen as there is no stock... BAH!!
But on the bright side I should be getting the watercooling. fans and lights this week.
and Im off to builders wharehouse to get some tools (Dremel and bits) too.

Bummer you gotta wait longer now dude... Hope it arrives by the end of the week! This mod is gonna make some pretty cool reading when you get started! Just dont mess anything up with the case, its quiet pricey... on the other hand, if you do, just send it to me I'll PM you my address
Best of luck with the mod bro

Im coming for a car moding background here, just the dremel is replacing the good old angle grinder
And I hope (touch wood) I dont screw this case up LOL. Thats why im going to double and trouple check everything before I cut.
Also im going to need a name for this thing. I was thinking of something like stealth or something along those lines

hey Skidd,
I also come from a car moding background, having done a few ground up restorations.
main thing with PC's are they are alot more finicky, so just take your time I keep forgetting how fragile these things are, and the cutting is on a much smaller finer detail scale.
But that being said, a good car moder > good PC moder
