How to determine what build of Vista one is running.

Hi

How do i determine what build of vista one is running ?

I am testing a buddies version of vista on my notebook before i buy and have only 30 days to decide.

Start -> Run -> Winver

I use a slightly different way. When you open up a command prompt window, the first line of text will look something like this: "Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6000]". The build number is the third version number, in this case 6000.
