Hi all,
OK, so Im a classic ASP programmer. There are many many books out there that tell how to develop in C# .NET. The books I found have either been too basic or too advanced with a specific topic in mind for the advanced developer. Im looking for something in between and am finding it a difficult task to get hold of such a book/ebook.
I have a standard I stick to with developing websites etc:
1. An include page with database connection objects there for connecting to a SQL server/s
2. A global file for all the bits and pieces (image paths, URLs, etc etc)
3. A functions include file for all repetitive code, to make things easier to manage and work with
With a .NET website I want to setup and develop websites in the same way...but I am yet to find a book that explains and guides you to doing this. Anyone know of any, or have some links to tutorials they can share with the above in mind??
I would really appreciate it, thanks.
EDITED: BEST SENARIO WOULD BE A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO CREATE A SHOPPING WEBSITE IN C# .NET...I understand all the programming concepts etc...its just the how to actually get it going
