Poster Printing

Post by Richard_ »

I need several images in print, either in A2 or A1 colour. I've had a gander around Google, but couldn't find anything helpful. Are there any online companies that will do A2 or A1 colour printing, or even better, a place in Durban that will be able to do this for me? Also, how much can I expect to pay for images of these sizes in full colour?

You can't just buy the dolphins and Britney Spears (when she had hair) posters from CNA, like everybody else, can you? :D

We have a A0 plotter at work, but use the nearby postnet when we need more than a couple. Perhaps a postnet around there can help?

Thanks neon, but if I want explicit stuff in poster size, I would have just asked you :P

Thanks schase. :-) I've checked them out, and they do pretty much what I want. But such a massive price difference between canvas and semi-gloss photo paper? 8O

Belix, our varsity has A0 plotters too, but they only draw in 8 or 16 colours, which is hardly optimal. I'll check out the local Postnet though, thanks :)

If anyone knows of someplace closer to Durban, that would be great too.

You need those large-scale A0 printers. JETLINE are always a good bet. They've got REALLy good high-quality printers that can do MAD-SCALE jobs, just make sure your stuff's hi-res enough. I use JETLINE in Illovo in Sandton. Greatness.

I did a poster for my brother. Pretty freaking huge. And i think her printer is wider enough for A0. So phone her. Name is Jenifer
