which one should I get? The E6600 or the E6420
considering the E6600's manufactured after week L640 don't OC nicely

Push your chip alot more Druggs. Take it to 3.6
And lower your memory divider. Put it to 533. and gonna need to up the voltage.

yeah I agree Druggs.
I have taken my little E6300 to 3.5GHz and I get a score of 16s, your chip can go higher, unless you got a post L640 week chip, then you will need to up the voltage major.
So here is my bench

dude, Druggs, dont be scared man, put your cpu voltage to 1.5 and then ur ram to like 2.1v and then up that FSB to where your ram is at like 900.
Then maybe loosin your timings a lil, 5-5-5-15 just for a higher FSB
