Just a question, did you clear your cache before running it again?

me thinks Telkom has BIG loan with ABSA. ABSA are using all the int bandwidth instead of charging interest.
USM, try one of the foreigh servers like the London one.
What I type has nothing to do with the people that employ me.

LOL, It would make more sense if Telkom owned Absa, that would explain the high bank charges

telkom can't own ABSA because in the banking industry there is competition.
Telkom likes monopolies

Yes I did clear my cache, our international latency is real crap though, lots of firewalls and proxies as I mentioned, I will run local again and international, give me 5 secs..

At work I get 844 down and 209 up with 77ms latency, but bear in mind that the connection is shared with 15 other people. If I was to come in at around 2 in the morning, I would probably get better results.
I'll run the test again when I get home and compare.
i hit 1678 down and 1567 up 234ms lag
bare in mind we have 60 -70 computers on the network

Here is the local one again, cleared cache...
The London test is taking forever, I think they throttle our international
bandwidth alot.
Here is the test to the london server, the upload is really crappy though

something is definately being cached somewhere.
I used to get crazy speeds on the Telkom site with my N70 and Opera Lite which is known to use caching servers as part of the service.
