Project : I hate lil kids! *UPDATE 09-004-2007**mod canceled

Post by Spicy-McHaggis »

Ok! so yeah the strange name might be confusing!...

i started a mod a while back and suddenly stopped after some injuries with some powertools... (Dremmel blade popped into million pieces of which one *the largest* into my hand..)

So i decided to carry on with it and get it finished and klaar!

so me was marking and cutting some perspex and family came over *unexpected * trying to get kids to stay away from my system(s) they finally got it far enough to damage my windows to the concent of me needing to re-install. *they got to it when nature called me :D*

so me trying to find me disc and it seemd it was gone...foetsie... *i hate familie members with lil kids...*

so check this! whilst im installing kubuntu 6.10 on my one sys they rock up*

Image

the installation errord*spelling* due to which i whent back to my windows with now problems.

After my windows was buggered --->
Yup!

Image

*so family finally left! Thank Goodness!*

and i could continue! !!!FINALLY!!!

SO i checked my perspex and what i could still do to it, and marked off where i wanted my fans to go!
Image

(a more detailed description of what i had in mind!)
Image

here some holes i made so that the cutting goes easier.
Image

so the wholes are cut i just need to filed them os they a bit smoother...
Image

when i lost my windows i also lost pics of my GFX card, i cleaned it and there was so much dust it was lying there 5mm thick! and my card was overheating! :(

so i decided to sit bad and play some UT2k3 on my bros system!
Image

and listening to some nice dance music !
Image

whent for an XRAY *i dont know why but i did* and they found something strange about my binnegoete :D
Image
The doc suggested i stop drinking!...

And BTW here the type of fan i want to put in but they make loads of noice so il have to rethink my decision!
Image

i was thinking of using valcro(spelling) to close my case as it is easy yet different...

I will update asap!

he probably means the next phase of this project - so you count each bit done as a mod

then again - im definitely wrong - just noticed he has a new case ordered

PLEASE rethink that part of your order. I had a TT CPU Fan and it failed. Took my MoBo with it. Rather get a Zalman or stay with stock cooling. Serious dude, get something else

I 3rd that! Stay away from anything TT! Its just gonna give you problems. I had a TT fan kit and it didnt do anything except take up power... get anything but those TT things!

Sorry for the double post. Just have some suggestions on your fans:

I take it you looking at a LGA775 CPU Cooling?
Zalman Cooler - the lowest you should go in coolers!

If you not looking at LGA775, take a look here

Also with that fan, if you have to get a 80mm then go with something like:

Vantec Spectrum 80mm
Antec 80mm
Antec TriCool
Those Antec TriCool fans are the sh#t of fans! Im using them for my mod and they look really nice aswel!

Look at 120mm fans also, they alot quieter!

Damn, link overload!!!!!!!!

SCHWEET!

Thanx Guys i just made an edit in my order and added

AOpen 450W Power Supply
[ATX-Z450]

2x Vantec 80mm Spectrum UV Case Fan - Green
[FA-80VUG]

Damn those fans are cheap!

PSU is also like 300 bucks cheaper then my current silentpower 2.0 at 400W which i payd R650 for!!!

I took off the TT products...

They seemd to be good products...

I placed a order with them for 3 muffle fans by antec and the tem monitor!

this was 2 weeks ago and they keep on telling me they will phone me when they get it, they also keep telling me they dont know when they receive stock...

so yeah im on a halt for now until i get my stuff from sybaritic.
