If there was a thanks button I would hit it just to say thanks for the solid black background now

StarBound. You will have to hit it every time iRon makes a post. To be honest, he deserves your undying gratitude for even implementing a single request from this thread.

- Dynamic forum width will not happen and it has been stated a million times already (just a figure of speech so don't get smart and bash it a million times over).

You already have it jamin_za.... dynamically change your screen resolution

Re: Forum Suggestions and Requests
How about a "latest post" panel/frame/whatever you call it. Right on the main page and right on top. It makes it easier to avoid the spammers and you can also see what is happening on the forum. It also makes it easier than to look through all the directories as it is now

What about the View Active Topics on the right hand side? - and you can click only Wired (for tech) and play (for games) if you want to avoid any fun.
Re: Forum Suggestions and Requests
Thats just the point. I don't want to click a link to go. I just want to open the forum, view the posts, see if there is anything interesting and move on if I want to. We had a latest post column on the left way back when I joined the forum and it worked great then.

Re: Forum Suggestions and Requests
In vB you can add "grids" (with latest posts etc) and sidebars (on the left and/or right) from the Admin CP with only a few clicks. Does phpBB not have these features built in?

phpBB doesn't even have a native mobile skin built in. What are the chances of having a feature like that built in?Bladerunner wrote:In vB you can add "grids" (with latest posts etc) and sidebars (on the left and/or right) from the Admin CP with only a few clicks.
