What's up with this file-sharing thing? I downloaded limewire, but I'm not sure what to do next. Does anyone know how to establish a connection? The help sux and Gnutella's site is even worse! I've spent the last 3 hours trying to figure this thing out. PLEEZ HELP!!!

One should not jump to conclusions as to what the software is being used for, it may possibly have a legitimate use, such as sharing shareware, abandonware, photos or demo's etc.

8O Jeez, I seemed to have opened up a can of worms here! I did look into the legalities, bras, and I do not intend promoting piracy or infringing on any copyrights. I'm looking for old sierra and lucas arts-type abandonware. Now, could someone please tell me how to connect the damn thing!

gnutella is the ****** p2p on earth
kazaa sucks too slow
imesh very nice. but registration is a sonofabitch - thats the one i use get 20KB/s often when america is offline
overnet is ok but slow
limwire is full of porn

Ok sorry for jumping to conclusions but his post was very vague too he never said what he was gonna use it for.

Chilliboy i'm sorry if I offended you but in future keep in mind to supply as much info as possible in a post (that way people won't get confused)..
