Project: Endorphin (Update! 23/01)
Looks awesome Dae...
Just a question - Why not align the screws on the side panel plexi/mesh? It looks a bit funny with the top and bottom rows out of line with the middle two rows...

Thanks for the comments guys
With regards to the S. It might just turn out to be a problem. I've spoken to my step-dad about it. I wanna fill it up with the same stuff they use for cars, like bondo, but he says that because it's aluminium, the bondo will eventually just fall out. I'll rather have the S there than has it look a million times worse in the future.
I'm still gonna try though. I still have the piece of alu that i cut out, and the rest of the word is on there, so i'll bondo that and see what happens.
I wanted the screws to be perfectly spaced relative to the length of the specific piece of plexi it was on, not relative to each other. I think it turned out pretty goodSlasher wrote:Looks awesome Dae...

That guy that used to mod cases. Now I take photos. True story.
The other option would be to fill it by Tig welding the "S" then sanding it flush..
ASUS P5K Delux Wifi || Intel Core 2 Duo 3ghz e6850 || 4gb Mushkin XP 1066mhz DDR2 CL4 || 2x Sapphire ATI HD3870 512mb Crossfire || OCZ StealthXstream 600w || 500gb WD || 2x120gb WD Raid 0 || Thermaltake Xaser III Lanfire || Logitech Z-5500 Digital 5.1 Speakers || Samsung Syncmaster 226BW 22" LCD "S" Panel ||
Something you could do yourself is fill the S with epoxy and then sand it flat.

Did you use Epidermix or just ordinary pratleys?

Ja, the Epidermix is hard and brittle... but takes like over a week to dry properly It comes in two big tubs..
Pratelys epoxies are more user friendly they have a few different types like clear etc. they dry quicker but aren't as hardcore.

Ja, the quickset steel is an epoxy They also have the steel putty..Skidd wrote:could always use some pratly steal glue there and file down the excess.

Hmmm.... options options options...
Well, i can test them all
I still have the rest of the word "HUTTLE" So i can test it there. The first thing i'll try is the car stuff that my step dad uses. If that fails, i'll try all your theories
Thanks a lot guys
