They have a shop in Du Toit Str in PTA central. Its next to Philtron. And they are open on Saturdays and remember to take a number at the door.

Melikes the chrome fan grille :)
Isn't it possible to chrome those plasticky ones, too? Just so it looks more uniform...

Ha ha, maybe, rather leave the more complicated things to Samaya though

the Voltmeter cost about R30, its 15VDC. the filters were about R7? i think or was it R17 :?

the chrome one was about R8.

i don't like chrome things generally, the chrome peels and blisters if it isn't done properly and you can't paint over it, so you have to rub and sand it down with a brilo pad

suppose it could spray the dust filters a chrome colour though. Hmm or do them all blue

Hi people, been busy with varsity...

Did some modding on the weekend, i took an old soldering iron and plastic welded a drive blanking plate onto the fascia of my case, then i rubbed it down and resprayed the front, Azure Blue, Gave up on white, it shows up everything...

as you can see i also cut and fitted another fan, which brings it to about 6, also sprayed my dust filters, then i got clever...

tired of self tapping screws and running short, so i tapped/threaded all the fans to take M5 threaded screws/bolts etc.

also cut and fitted my volt meter to the front, now that i have sufficient room to attach it... i'll put a HDD behind the fan, bought 3 pairs of brackets in thailand...

sale is all but over, most of the 'good stuff' is sold, but maybe you can still pick something up.

Looks like a cool idea you have for the enclosure, I'm guessing that it would be a seperate "box" which would attach to the bottom of the case as apposed to being built into the lower section of the case...if that makes sence?
