3D mark 2001 score for 7600GT stock

Got a score of 31336 after i setup my new system yesterday.
what are other scores so i can compair

I think u should get the later 3dmarks, like 03,05 and 06, there areplenty of scores on this forum to compare those to.

What is your setup like? that's a good score, but then again if it's on a X6800 then it's expected to be that high/low depending on how you look at it.

people still compete in 3DM2K1 because it doesn't have a thousand issues like the later ones. And it's still a relatively good performance indicator (assuming you're over the 20K mark at least)

It's pretty much useless using an out dated benchie like 3DMark2001. It doesn't test most of the new features that todays gfx cards make use of and make the current games look so much better than 5 or 6 years ago. The lastest 3DMark (2006) and Aquamark3 scores are the major benchies that most people use to compare cards. go to http://www.tomshardware.com and see how your system compares with the stock cards. I think the oldest benchie they use is 2003.
