The virus enters machines through a security hole in the remote management interface of versions of Symantec AntiVirus and Symantec Client Security to take complete control of the computer.
Is nothing sacred? 8O
Edit
There's no mention of this on Symantec's website??

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

I'm using Norton AV 2005 with all the latest updates installed - I don't have any resource hogging problems that most people complain about with Nortons. The whole package, System Works, can be a bit annoying and slows down my pc noticably, that's why I only use the AV.
