Hey guys i wanted to post this here for my friend. He did it from scratch. He traced the girl and then with photoshop and time and his skill he develpoed this.

Check it out. ignore the the typing it was to his girlfriend at the time.

Typography is 100% as important at the artwork. It should compliment it and destroy it.

Great pic. I like the wings and the sun's rays.

Maybe if the type was in italics and some kind of cursive font, or something close to 'papyrus' that'd work out nicely.

In retrospect, why would someone who is that good at GFX design, add text that looks so crap? It wouldn't take 5 minutes to make that text look great, and yet he chose to keep it like that. Should have been obvious from the beginning.
