Games you never finished
Everyone is always talking about the new game and hte next biggest thing to hit your pc screen but looking back ( to my left actually) I see all those games sitting on my shelves that havent been finished and probibly wont be or either they might end up being finished a few months down the line if I am lucky.
How much do you spend on games that you wish you never bought? I used to go through a game in 5 days before WoW became part of my daily life. And here is what I am left with after all has been said and done:
Baldur's gate - It cost me R200 because I wanted to play it and now I am still stuck in Naskal waiting on some spark of influance to get me playing it again. Its been 2 months now!
Escape from monkey island - A R100 budget game that I havent touched in forever.
Titan Quest - Woot! A diablo style game without the diablo feel. I only play for about an hour before throwing in the towel. Sad since I paid R300 for it.
Instead of going on and on about why I havent finished my games let me rather put a list of games that I havent finished and leave it at "Not finished!"
NFS underground
NFS Hot persuit 2
Doom 3 expansion
Guild wars
Some PS2 titles now...
FF8
FF9
Ace combat 5
Resident evil Veronica X
Alien hominide
Crash Bandicoot , the first ps2 one
...and there are more but I cant remember them. What it all comes down to is I bought games that were on special or got a good score in a mag or was part of a killer series. The end result is I didnt sit down with the intension of finishing the game.
So any insight I can give to other gamers out there? Buy 1 title and finish it! Then consider getting another one. Never look back to something that was for it WAS then but isnt now.

All I can remember atm are:
Warcraft III
Silent Hill 3
Hech, a ton of others. Will post as I remember.
Though the earliest game I can remember is Kage on the SNES. It got way too tough, even with a second player. Well that's a good 10 - 15 years back.

I never finished IL2 Sturmovik. At the time I boght it I didn't have a joystick. Then after I got my stick I started playing the german campaign, and got far, but then I installed a patch and it deleted my savegame. Man was I peeved. Haven't started a campaign again.
