Z5500 Vs S750 ???

And, is the creative worth an extra grand or so...?

I have Z-5500's...and they are ABSOLUTELY amazing dude! Super Clear sound at high volume...woofer is extemely sick...(think of shaking doors and "plafonne")

It's SO nice dude! I love it!

Looking at the S750's...It's a whole 200RMS louder...which is a CRAP load. But it's UGLY...the Z-5500's are sooooo nice!

Z-5500, hands down. You'll need a 24-bit Audio Card to boost the experience though.

I bought the Z-5500 mainly due to quality and looks, it suited my setup. This was before my 24-bit X-Fi... O_o
Wait till you hear all the channels and the clarity!

How much is the Z-5500's ? Like R3K?

That's like R5.94 per RMS

And the S750's are like R4300 right?

That's like R6.14 per RMS

I honestly would rather go for the Z-5500's. They are LOUD enough already...

If you have the Extra R1K or so I would invest in a better soundcard like X-Fi or an HDA soundcard. Available here for R1139.00

If you got a decent Creative soundcard then get the creatives, they tend to work the best and have best sound levels and the RCA output for the sub is beter if the soundcard and speakers are Creative. But yet again, Logitechs pretty much work with any sound cards so it will probably come down to price I guess...

The 5500's are fantastic, sub is really powerfull. Clarity at high volume is very good, my bro has them. Save some cash and get the 5500's and invest in a decent soundcard because using one of these sets on onboard sound would be a real shame. SBLive atleast or a X-Fi preferably.

Decent soundcard goes without saying...

Any reasons in particular not to get the creatives?
I mean, anyone here heard how they compare relative to 5500's... someone thats heard both??
