There's a massive thread about desktop modding somewhere, but i can't find it.

I used to be very involved in desktop modding, but i just got tired of it. So here's what my desktop looks like right now:

As it was while reading

Minimised my browser(s)

Check out the cool browser on my left screen. I can have like two web pages open in the same window, without tabs. Man it's cool.

I think we should have a PCF Desktop Modding comp. It only has to last one week or so, and whoever has the sickest desktop in the end wins. That would be cool. What do you guys think?

Then you need a G15 keyboard. You just assign shortcuts to the G keys and no more icons on your desktop.

I use two screens ;)

And i hate icons too, but i'm too lazy to organise it. I leave my desktop to get REAL messy, then a spind a few minutes tidying it up every few weeks...

I have two monitors. The one on the right is the one i modded, yes, and it's a 17", running 1280x1024. The one on the left, however, is a 15" LCD, not modded, and only running 1024x768 screen resolution. I use the 17" for most of what i do. The 15" is just there to put my IM client and media player on.
