Forgotten password

Post by Fish_man »

Hi
I have forgotten my Windows Xp Pro Password, and I have been looking all over the web for some ways to get back into my system, but to no avail. So you guys are my last hope. Can anyone help me with this problem? Windows Xp was preloaded on my system.

I don't know if this actually works because I don't use XP, but you can try it: http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html

If you can set your boot options to boot from cd, put your winXP cd it the drive and follow the steps - just a guess anyhow thats my 2 cents worth

Just an Idea, but it has worked for me in the past.
If your machine was preloaded there is a chance depending on who loaded it.

Try username: Administrator
And Password: Administrator or Admin or Password or leave it blank.

The blank one worked for me the most times.

Let me know :)

I agree ...
If the PC was pre-loaded you have a very good chance of Administrator [ username ] and leaving the password blank.

Other than that try and find out who loaded it and find out what the administrator password is.

Otherwise, you're pretty much stuck out in the water with no oar.
