Graphics conversion filter

Post by Madgic »

I have a problem - my computer gives me this error message when I try to open a Microsoft Word Document:

Microsoft word 97 Conversion

"Unable to load graphics conversion filter - "

But it doesn't say what filter! I've looked at the properties but it just says it's a Micrsoft Word Document. What do I need to do in order to be able to open this file? My client is waiting for me to finish something he started and I can even access it.

Thanks in anticipation.

Was The document created in a newer version of word?, Maybe it wasn't in the right format for the version of word that you are useing.

Otherewise go the the MS website and e-mail their office helpdesk, they were very helpful the times That I haved used them.

Havoc is right, you're trying to open a word doc that was created with a newer version of word than the one you have.
