Windows Explorer's nuts

Post by roach »

Hi, Windows Explorer's is starting to go loopy on me. "View as Web page" doesn't stay on any longer & when I move around the folder tree the focus sometimes jumps back to previous folder I opened.

Any suggestions please.

I had the same problem on my old pc with win 98, dunno what caused it though.

Try putting your windows cd in the cd-rom and clicking setup, dont format or anything, just refresh windows. Also run whatever antivirus software youve got.

This worked on mine, hope it works for you

You can try what hyperchild mentioned ...

Have to tried to apply your settings to all folders?

Once you have changed the view to "View as webpage" go to View \ Folder Options. Go to the View tab and select the "Apply to all Folders" button.

I hope that works.
