Symantec can't help

Post by RiVaL »

I'm one of the fortunate that understand German and have found a website that helped me remove the Win32/VB.NBB
The app "Spyware Doctor" helped me as "NOD32" & "SUPERAntiSpyware" did not know what to do!

Hope this helps you with the Worm

first off, welcome RiVaL!.. be sure to pop on over to the >>intro<< thread and hum us a few bars

nod32 has picked this one up with little issue in the past... i'm surprised to hear not so on your system?... as per eset, the signature has been in use since at least 1.1254, (which is a while back)...

no, and hell yes... i've used a number of security products over the years and this is the first one that actually impressed me.

yes. complete UI rebuild with some interesting additions... footprint has grown a little, but not excessively so.

I had Nod32 which I really did think was good, however installing Kaspersky found about 8 viruses on my machine that my fully updated Nod32 AV never detected at all.

IMHO Kaspersky 7 is the best AV around...

So it looks like it's an actual release. It's not in beta or anything? I have a license for 2.7, so do I need to buy a new license for v.3 or can I use the same license? Do you know?
