At extremesystems.com they have a 100% oc thread!
WTF! You are a dumbass!

that is only 5%!

50% is 1000+50%=1500mhz not 1005...
Lets see here.

Stock is 667

OC'ed is 1050

Lets do the math

(1050 / 667) x 100 = 157

Thus 57% OC

Im tempted to rip you off big time but anyways...
WELL DONE!!! It WAS a 667 (see first post) but I oc'ed it using BIOS, then SpeedFan, and CPU-Z took it that 1GHz was original clockspeed. BTW, how can I fix that?

If non of you believe me, see my first post to see what CPU I'm using.

Ok, I'm redeeming myself:

For some reason, CPU-Z thinks that it is a 1GHz chip, even when running at 66MHz FSB.

neon is busy updating my sig for me.

I GIVE UP ON THESE DAMN PICTURES!!! Can you please lend a hand, Thrall? Oh ya, tnx for helping with the others

Ok, for starters, you'll see that the Coppermine series of Celerons ends at 700MHz (weird name, seeing as the CPU doesn't contain an ounce of copper, but hey, what do I know?).

<r@zy g3rm@n? You said it...

@Futs Thanks man. And it's with the CPU that you sent me! DBL TNX!

Cool wasn't that a standard 900Mhz or 1000Mhz, can't remember.

or is it just the board that can't handle those processors?

Got meself from 2.0 to 2.66 once on my CPU.

Ran stable for awhile until I noticed corrupt textures in Doom 3 and FarCry. (How does that work?)

Now I'm running at 2.38Ghz, and everything runs fine.

@Futs No, it's a 667. I'm sooooo not complaining!

I have just achieved a 68% overclock, but it was not stable. Once Win2k had loaded, I was greeted by a BSoD. It said something about 'NTFS'and 'IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL'. I'll play around with my memory timings, as ATM they are 2-2-2-5, which is extremely tight, considering 1 of the sticks is PC66. I'll try relaxing them to 3-3-3-7 and see what happens.

Anyway, my maximum oc remains 57%, as I have no way of proving otherwise.

Moving on, my gfx defaults are CORE 250MHz ; MEM 444MHz

I have achieved a maximum daily of CORE 315MHz ; MEM 603.7MHz

It was supposed to be 610MHz, but RivaTuner set it as 603.7.

All of the above are daily values, all are on air cooling (For my gfx I used some scrap metal to rig a fan blowing onto the card), giving me the following:

CPU 57%
GFX Core 26%
GFX Memory 36%
1x Stick PC66 RAM: 59%
FSB 59%

Clicking HERE will show you that slot 3's memory is 64MB PC66 Hitashi RAM running at 105MHz

LOL then that was my bad I actually thought I took the 1ghz *scratches head* very strange.
but aslong as its working for you no sweat.

I'll check if I can't find the other one tomorow *hhhmmm* starting to wonder who took that one then.

what was Arkonin sending you?

@ Darkstar just check your cooling, cos thats usually the case with artifacts and tends to be on the card rather then the cpu.
I take it is an AGP board?
If so up the frequency from 66Mhz to 67-68 at most, should give a bit more stable running

So now this is a 25% thread?! Whatever happened to 50%?

Well, i got my X2 4400+ chip from 2200Mhz to 2772Mhz, which is a 26% overclock.

I have yet to overclock my video cards though...

This is me. I don't want to go further because then I'll have to put my 1 stick of Corsair Value Select ram (512mb) at DDR266. 18hours Prime95 stable (I stopped it).

I know one guy who did an o/c from 700Mhz to 1.1Ghz.

He soldered his CPU to the motherboard.

@Dom Thanks!
@Futs I don't know what he is sending, and it's cool, I'm happy with current CPU
@DAE So that you could feature
@AlphA Stock air cooling, and using some scrap metal, rigged some extra fans.

Your NOT gonna believe this, but...
Image
NOTE that this is NOT a 24/7 setting as the CPU overheats after about 20min and locks up, I had to remove 128MB of RAM cause it was too slow, slow down the remaining 128 to 3-3-3-7 from 2-2-2-5, and I cant get into Win2k.

That's a freakin' 70% OC!!!

The frequency fluctuates ALOT and I appear to have gotten it at it's lowest, 110MHz FSB. It is actually 112MHz. I'll try to fix that up. Anyway, the version of CPU-Z that I used doesn't have the option to verify, so I'll have to fix that up aswell. I will return tomorrow, as I am broke for now.

Ja I use an internet cafe. Anyway, as promised:

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=79627

I have not yet checked the CPU, but if it is a 1gig then I am terribly sorry. BUT, I still have the following under my belt:

CPU 12%
GFX Core 26%
GFX Memory 36%
1x Stick PC66 RAM: 59%
FSB 12%

Note that the 1 stick of PC66 is rated at:

66MHz, 3-3-3-6 timings

and I'm running it at

105MHz, 2-2-2-5 timings.

But i'm pretty sure that the CPU is 667MHz
