This message is also for other ISP members that use the 0860007249 number.

If you are having problems connecting, please phone into technical support and ask for a local pop number in your area to use. Many users find the 086 either too slow, or sometimes not being able to connect at all.

For Pretoria areas, use (012) 335-7000 or (012) 420-0300. ISDN users will benifit mostly from the last nunber.

In extreme cases, use the 086 number as a backup, or if there is no local pop number in your area.

@lantic, WorldOnline, Telkom, and more are all logging onto the Internet with the 086 number, it is so congested, you do the maths on how many subscribers each ISP puts through that poor 086 number.

Don't understand, cause the 086 number gets routed to the other local numbers you mentioned and end up in the same local place!
