heya,im sure heres a few dealers, im a dealer for a company in joburg, I have seen that buycomputers.co.za's prices on there amd cpus is much cheaper than the distrubuters,got a pricelist of another company aswell and its also more than buycomputers,now how does that work?

It might be what's called a loss-leader - they don't make any money on it, perhaps even sell at a slight loss in order to get you in the door in the first place. The the rest of the gear is at regular price, if not higher

I could be wrong, of course - just a possibility I mentioned because I know some companies do that.

Could be that they import the CPUs directly.

Ive seen places that only give a 1 year warrantee on AMD cpus instead of the 3 year standard one.

Well on the 3000+ cpu buycomputers is 180 cheaper..

Imported directly, lower import tariffs, buy in large quantities? Or what maxxis and Thrall suggested.

Sahara offer the full 3 year warranty on their boxed AMD's. The tray's however only come with a 1 year warranty.

Does anyone know who else imports XFX besides AXIZ?

Damn, those are good prices. And they are inc.
Does anyone know who else imports XFX besides AXIZ
AXIZ never has stock of anything these days. Most of the time I don't mind paying the 10% premium to go somewhere else where I don't have to wait a week or two for availability.
