F.E.A.R Test Settings Demo Scores

Hi Guys,

Why not? Post your <b>Average</b> demo scores for 1024x768 4xAA 8xAF with everything on Maximun with Soft Shadows. Will be nice to see what some rigs are doing over others.

Average FPS : <b>54</b>

What image settings in the nVidia control panel?

Highest Quality?
Transparency AA off?
Gamma Correct AA off?
Allow negative LOD bias?

I was impressed to get so high!
Admittedly I didnt have 8xAF on.
If I set the graphics on high I get 22.

I will probably get abit lower than you consider I only have 512 ram and a 6600LE 256

I get an average of:

2fps.

My system:

2.0Ghz Celeron (o/c to 2.38 )
Gigabyte GA-S648FX-L mobo
768MB RAM DDR266
Radeon 9200SE 128MB.
WinXP Pro SP2

I'm very proud of it.

just check mine latest night..... 36 FPS at those settings... Its funny, if a drop AA to 0 and softshadows to off, it jumps up to 67.... Its odd

Maybe I shld look into overclocking a bit

If you're getting 23, the reality is you would have to overclock alot to even get 30. Rather just switch off Softshadows and lower the AA. Softshadows kill even the best HW.

Ya, I know. I don't use these setting when I play the game. I was meaning overclocking to see how much I could improve on these results

i just dont get why one would want to play with AA on? i dont see a difference... maybe im just blind but thats just me. But its fair better than the 17 FPS i used to get at 640X480 with everything on low....

Damn AA and soft shadows kill

I get average 22 fps.

Oh, my specs: AMD 3200+ ; Asus 6800GT 128mb ; 1024mb Kingston ram ; MSI K8N neo 2 Platinum mobo

Just ran the test and was quite impressed!!!

With all the settings set to the max possible I got an average of 72fps with my 7600GT without any overclocking.I just love the performance of this card
