XP-120 on DFI Lanparty

Post by CeLL »

Hey guys. I'm still looking for a replacement for my stock AMD heatsink. The thermalright XP-120 is my first choice but i dont know if it'll fit my mobo. I have a DFi lanparty UT NF4 SLI-D board.

The compatability page at thermalright says that my first PCI-E slot and ram (with heatspreaders) will be blocked off.

My ram doesn't have heat spreaders and will only my first PCI-E 4x (see pic) slot be blocked or the x16 as well?

I know it'll probably fit, but I want to make sure as I'll be ordering from Sybaritic. So i dont want something that doesn't fit. Thanx Image[/img]

I couldn't get an Xp-120 because it would not fit in an A8N32. Go to the forums at http://www.xtremesystems.org. About 90% of the guys there use DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI D or DR boards, do a search for xp-120 and read their sigs and if you see alot using the XP-120, you'll know.

The XP-120 will fit, but you'll definitely have clearance issues. Rather get the SI-120.
